A critical air conditioning install for Telstra Global

Telstra Global wanted new Stulz equipment to replace older inefficient AC equipment. This was installed by Optimum in Telstra’s live data hall.

Our team went about sourcing the most efficient systems for Telstra. Our solution was the Stulz CyberAir 3PRO DX series which combines maximum reliability & efficiency as a replacement.

Before installing this new system, we had to remove the original inefficient chilled water DFU’s and replace them with new units in one room. We also had to install new DX units to another room.

We were instructed that this project must be delivered within a 6-week period, as the end user was due to move in on a pre-set date.

Our expert teams undertook the full programme, including the requisite phasing of works, supply, delivery, positioning, installation, testing and final commissioning of the replacement systems.

This project also included installing temporary cooling systems whilst the main works were undertaken. To avoid any disruption to Telstra’s business, a phased approach was applied when undertaking the installation. As a result of this approach, Optimum successfully carried out the required works without incident or impact to the client and end-users.

Our team of highly-skilled Technical, Operational and Project experts collaborated to ensure seamless integration and continued operation of the facility. The buildings critical cooling systems were maintained throughout the works and no outages were incurred.
