Optimum’s walk for the Alzheimer’s Society

The Optimum family took on the September 2017 Thames Bridge Challenge, raising £12,019 for the fantastic Alzheimer’s Society charity.

Following on from last year’s successful but somewhat gruelling marathon for Prostate Cancer with our mate “Jeff Stelling” we decided to try something a little closer to home (and slightly shorter) to get more people involved.

The Alzheimer’s Society provides life changing care and support to everyone affected by dementia.

This year we took on the Thames Bridge Challenge. On Saturday 9th September, the Optimum team trekked for 25 km over 16 London bridges raising awareness for the Alzheimers Society, a charity very close to our hearts. Mr John Crehan, however, did not only trek 50km on the Saturday, but also on the Sunday!

After our fundraising efforts, Optimum managed to raise a massive £12,019 for this fantastic charity.

A huge thank you to all of the Optimum team who took part, and to those who donated and supported such a great cause!
